What is DDI 21 Fácil?
DDI 21 Fácil is a plan that offers 210 minutes every month for international calls (IDD) placed any day of the week, at any time. It contemplates wireline-wireline and wireline-cell phone calls.
What are the benefits of the DDI 21 Fácil plan?
You have 3 and a half hours to call any country, for only R$0,26* each minute, any day and any time, to wireline and cell phones. For R$ 56,00/month* you have 210 minutes to place international calls to anyone you like, without being taken by surprise when your bill arrives.
What is the coverage of the plan?
The plan covers international calls (IDD) to anywhere in the world. All countries are included. This is an additional advantage of placing all your long distance international calls through Embratel.
Are the minutes of the plan valid at any time?
Yes, the 210 minutes of the plan can be used at any time, any day of the week.
Are calls destined to mobile phones contemplated as well?
Yes, calls placed from a wireline to a mobile phone are contemplated in the DDI 21 Fácil plan as well.
Are Domestic Direct Dialing (DDD) calls contemplated in the DDI 21 Fácil plan as well?
No. The DDI 21 Fácil plan contemplates IDD calling only.
Are collect calls placed from abroad included in the DDI 21 Fácil as well?
The operator-assisted and the Brasil Direto calls, i.e. collect calls, are not included in this plan. They will be billed as usual in accordance with the rates applied to each of these services.
What happens if I exceed the 210 monthly minutes of IDD calls?
If you exceed the 210 monthly minutes of IDD calls, you will pay R$ 0,74* for each minute in excess of the block of minutes.
Are the minutes not used during the month transferred to the next month?
No. The minutes not used during the month cannot be used in the next month.
How many phones can I register in the plan?
There is no limit for registration of phones in the plan. You can register as many phones as you wish.
Is it possible to buy more than one DDI 21 Fácil plan with one single phone number?
No, you can buy only one plan of 210 minutes for IDD calls with each phone.
Is there any registration fee for the plan?
No, the plan has no registration fee. You will only pay the monthly amount of R$49,00* to use the 210 minutes for IDD calls. This amount is automatically renewed in the next month.
How is the plan billed?
You will be charged for the DDI 21 Fácil calls in your bill. All your calls will be listed in the bill. The value of the calls included in the 210 minutes of the plan will be zero in the ?value excluding taxes? column. And the calls using the minutes in excess of the plan will be charged with the R$ 0,74* rate per minute.
If I register in DDI 21 Fácil halfway during my billing cycle, do I have to pay the whole monthly charge of that plan?
No. In the registration month you will pay only the amount of the DDI 21 Fácil plan corresponding to the remaining period of the month in progress, plus taxes. This corresponding amount takes into account the date of validity in the systems until the final billing date (on a pro-rata basis).

The period referring to the corresponding amount will be shown in the Embratel bill, next to the description of the plan.
Are the new rates in force from the registration date on?
The new rates of the DDI 21 Fácil plan will be in force in up to 5 days following the provisioning date.
What are the charges and taxes?
The same taxes applied to the Basic Plan: State ICMS, PIS (0,65%) and COFINS (3%). You should check out the ICMS applied in your State.
How are the calls placed before and after my registration included in the bill ?
The IDD calls placed before your registration in the DDI 21 Fácil plan will be charged in accordance with the rates of your previous plan, or with the rates of the Basic Plan if you were not registered in any IDD plan. After your registration in the DDI 21 Fácil plan is confirmed, the calls will be charged in accordance with the rates of this alternative plan.
Can I be registered in any other alternative plan and in the DDI 21 Fácil as well?
No. To register in the DDI 21 Fácil, you will have to cancel your registration in any other alternative long distance international plan. However, you can register in any other DDD Alternative Plan.
Is there a deadline for this plan?
No. If Embratel cancels this DDI 21 Fácil plan, all the customers registered in the plan will be advised thereof 30 days in advance. All such customers will be transferred free of charge to the Basic Plan or to any other Alternative Plan of their choice.
Is there a deadline to register in the plan?
No. You can register in the plan at any time.
Is there a minimum time to stay in the plan?
No.

Is there any grace period or penalty if I wish to cancel the DDI 21 Fácil Plan?
No. All you have to do is cancel the plan by ringing our service number 103 21 at any time. If your bill has not been issued yet, you will pay only the amount corresponding to the period when the plan was in force.
