You can make calls from any location in Brazil using any type of phone: wireline, wireless, prepaid, postpaid, nationwide or worldwide, by dialing one single carrier code, the 21. |
How can I make a DDD call from a cell phone?
To make a DDD call from a cell phone, either prepaid or postpaid, dial zero, carrier selection code (CSP), country code, city area code, and destination number.
Do I have to dial the carrier code (CSP) to make calls to other cities with the same origin area code of my cell phone?
No. Phone calls made to cities with the same area code are handled as local calls, i.e. you don't have to dial the long distance carrier code.
How do I make DDD collect calls?
You must add 9 before the zero, just as you dial from your wireline phone, as shown below:
Can I make a 0800 call from my cell phone?
Yes. All PMS cellular phones available in the marketplace are capable of making 0800 calls.
