What is Tarifa Única DDI?
It is Embratel's Long Distance International Alternative Plan of Service that offers a flat rate for international calls. This plan is valid for postpaid wireline and cell phones. And the flat rate is limited to 1000 minutes in each account/month.
How can I subscribe for the Tarifa Única DDI Plan?
Access the application form available in this website.
Since it is an Alternative Plan, your authorization and agreement is required for registration.
Upon joining Tarifa Única DDI, all international direct calls (IDD) using Embratel code 21 from the phone bills enrolled in the plan are charged in accordance with Tarifa Única DDI rates.

There is no subscription fee or monthly charge.
Is there any minimum monthly consumption in this Plan?
No, there is no minimum monthly consumption in this Plan.
Is there a minimum subscription time in the Plan?
No. You can leave the Plan at any time, free of charge.
How many phones can I register in the Plan?
There is no limit on the number of phones. You can register as many postpaid wireline or mobile phones as you wish.
Can I register my cell phones?
Yes, you can register postpaid cell phones.
When does the billing period start?
The billing period starts in up to 5 days after you subscribe to the Plan.
How do I receive my phone bill?
The calls made from wireline phones registered in the plan will be included in the same bill of the local telco. The calls made from the cell phones registered in the Plan will be included in the cell phone carrier bill.
What are time and billing units?
The minimum billing time is 1 (one) minute. After that the billing time is 1 minute. The minimum billing period for IDD calling is 3 seconds, i.e. you are billed in 3-second intervals or more.
What are the taxes and charges?
They are the same taxes of the Basic Plan: State ICMS, COFINS of 3,0% and PIS/PASEP of 0,65%.
Does the Tarifa Única DDI Plan contemplate Domestic Calling as well?
No, because this is an Alternative Plan focused on International Calling only. You can subscribe for Domestic Alternative Plans through this website. Click here to learn more about it.
How does the Tarifa Única DDI Plan handle the collect international calls made to the phones registered in the Plan?
The Operator-assisted and Brasil Direto calls are not contemplated in this Plan. Such calls are billed on a regular basis in accordance with the rates of each service.
How can I cancel my subscription to the Tarifa Única DDI Plan?
All you have to do is ring our Call Center no. 103 21 and order the cancellation of your subscription to the plan.
