What is the SIM 21 Plus plan?
It is a plan designed for customers like you who seek simplicity and economy for placing Long Distance Domestic (DDD) calls. If offers special rates, has no subscription nor monthly expense commitment, and the calls are charged in conjunction with the local carrier bill.
What are calls within the State and outside the State?
Calls within the State are made between two cities in the same State.
Calls outside the State are made between two cities located in different States.
What are the benefits of the SIM 21 Plus plan?

Can any subscriber sign up?
Yes. The SIM 21 Plus plan is designed for the residential segment focused on calls mostly within the State. However, the plan is available for any customer to sign up.
How can I sign up?
Just go for the plan by signing up the phone numbers you choose, through the online sign-up form, or contact our call center no. 103 21.
Why do I have to go for the plan?
Since it is an alternative plan vis-à-vis the DDD basic plan of services, the regulations establish that the customer must go for the plan.
Are the IDD calls included in the SIM 21 Plus plan as well?
No. The IDD calls are charged in conformity with your IDD plan or the Embratel IDD Basic plan.
How many terminals can I register in the plan?
You can register all your terminals (phone numbers).
Can I change the numbers registered in the plan at any time? Is it free of charge?
Yes, you can change the numbers entered in your register, and include other numbers not yet registered in the plan as well.
What is the coverage area of this plan?
This plan covers nationwide long distance calling (DDD).
Is there a deadline to register in the plan?
No. You can register in the plan at any time.
And what about the Basic plan?
Embratel continues to offer the Basic plan, however all the DDD calls placed through the phone numbers you registered in the SIM 21 Plus plan will be charged in accordance with the rates of this alternative plan, instead of the Basic plan.
Are the DDD collect calls included in this plan as well?
The collect calls that you receive are billed in accordance with the rates of the SIM 21 Plus plan.
The outgoing collect calls are billed in accordance with the rates of the SIM 21 Plus plan only, in case the terminal that receives the call is registered in the SIM 21 Plus plan as well. Otherwise, the call will be billed in accordance with the values of the rate plan in which the destination phone is registered.
Are the new rates in effect from the registration date on?
The new rates of the SIM 21 Plus plan will be in effect in up to 5 days following the registration date.
Is this plan in effect until further notice?
No, it is not in effect until further notice. Should Embratel eventually cancel the SIM 21 Plus plan, all the customers of this plan will be notified thereof 30 days in advance, and will be transferred free of charge to the basic plan, or to any other alternative plan of their choice.
Can I register in the Sempre 21 plan during business hours, and in the SIM 21 Plus during the night hours?
No. Each phone number can be registered in only one plan for long distance domestic (DDD) calls).
Can I register in the Toda Hora 21 plan and in the SIM 21 Plus as well?
No. Each phone number can be registered in only one plan for long distance domestic (DDD) calls.
Is there any promotion?
At present, we have no promotions in connection with the SIM 21 Plus plan.
Do I have to pay any monthly charge or registration fee?
No, there is no monthly charge or registration fee.
Is there a minimum time to stay in the plan?
There is no minimum time in the plan. You can order the transfer or the cancellation of the plan at any time.
Can I leave the plan at any time? What do I have to do?
Yes, you can leave the plan by giving us notice through our Call Center - 103 21.
Is there any installation cost?
No, there is no installation cost.
What are the time and billing units?
Minimum billing time for direct and collect calling: 60 seconds.
Billing unit: 60 seconds.
How do I receive my bill?
The customers of the SIM 21 Plus plan will be charged for long distance calls in the same bill of the local carrier.
What are the taxes and charges?
They are the same taxes applied to the Basic Plan: State ICMS, PIS= 0,65% and COFINS= 3,0%.
How are the calls made before and after my registration in the plan included in the next bill?
The DDD calls made before the confirmationof your registration in the SIM 21 Plus plan are billed in accordance with the rates of the DDD Basic Plan. After the confirmation or your registration in the plan, the calls will be billed in accordance with the rates of the SIM 21 Plus plan.
