What is Muito Mais 21 Plan?
Muito Mais 21 plan fits your usage profile. Upon enrolling in the plan, you buy minutes for your own DDD peak hours. Such minutes apply to wireline phones anywhere in Brazil.
There are seven modes with different times of day and number of minutes, intended to residential customers or small-sized businesses.
If you exceed the purchased minutes or make calls on different times of day, the applicable rate is very simple, with just three daytime, nighttime and weekend schedules.

After using your purchased minutes, you can count on a very simple rating structure with just three schedules and rates all over Brazil.
When are such minutes effective?
Muito Mais 21 Weekend 60 and 120 minutes:
Minutes effective on Saturday, Sunday or national holidays, all day through, i.e. from 00:00 through Midnight.
Muito Mais 21 Business 60, 150 and 300 Minutes:
Minutes are effective any time of day, any day of the week.
What if I make calls on times of day other than those included in the Plan?
Such calls shall be charged in accordance with Muito Mais 21 simpler rating structure, with just three rates: daytime, nighttime and weekend. Click here and check the rates.
What about calls made to wireless phones?
Calls to wireless phones are made as usual and are charged in accordance with a simpler rating structure as well, with just three advantageous rates for daytime, nighttime and weekends. Click here and check the rates.
Does the plan have any subscription fee?
No. The monthly value is thoroughly used and includes DDD minutes anywhere in Brazil. It is worth buying such minutes, because they have a special price vis-à-vis the other rates . You can save money on a customized basis as well during your own peak hours.
What are the benefits of Muito Mais 21 Plan vis-à-vis Embratel Basic Plan?
Muito Mais 21 offers a customized version for your own peak hours. Besides, with Muito Mais 21 you always know how much you will pay for your calls: there are just three schedules and three rates all over Brazil.
How many modes can I subscribe to?
You can subscribe to more than one mode for the same phone number, provided that such modes are not included in business and residential profile. Considering this restriction, it is possible to subscribe for the same mode more than once as well, for instance by purchasing two Muito Mais 21 Nighttime 60 Minutes modes. In this way, you add all the more flexibility to tailor Muito Mais 21 to your profile.
Can any customer be a subscriber?
Yes. Muito Mais 21 plan has six modes in accordance with times of day and the number of minutes purchased. Just compare which one fits your profile best.
What should I do to enroll?

Why do I have to opt for the plan?
Since it is an alternative plan, customers have to opt for it in compliance with Anatel's (Agência Nacional de Telecomunicações - National Telecommunications Agency) decision.
Are IDD calls included in the plan as well?
No.
What is the coverage?
Minutes included in any mode of the plan, as well as its rates beyond the minutes included in the plan schedule, are effective anywhere in Brazil.
What happens to the Basic Plan?
Embratel is still commercializing its Basic Plan, however all DDD calls made from the phone numbers enrolled in Muito Mais 21 plan shall be charged in accordance with this plan's flat rates instead of those of the Basic Plan.
Are collect calls included in this plan as well?
YES, provided that the phone receiving the collect call is enrolled in Muito Mais 21 plan. Therefore, the call is charged in accordance with the plan rates. It should be reminded that collect calls are also contemplated in the minute packet purchased.
What about my bill?
Your bill shall contain the description of the Muito Mais 21 mode you bought, on the "Other Services" section. The detailed list of calls, where you can check all your calls, shows the Muito Mais 21 monthly value calls with a null value on the " no taxes included" column.
Do I have to pay the full monthly value of Muito Mais 21 mode if I subscribe to the plan in the middle of the billing cycle?
No, you just pay the proportional value of the Muito Mais 21 mode purchased, accrued with taxes. This proportional value takes into account the effective date in the systems until the final date of the billing cycle.
The period of time corresponding to such proportional charge shall be presented on Embratel bill next to the description of the mode you bought.
Can I enroll in Sempre 21 on working hours, and in Muito Mais 21 in the nighttime?
No. Each phone number can be enrolled in just one alternative plan for long distance domestic (DDD) calls.
Does this plan have a limit of time?
No. Should Embratel cancel Muito Mais 21 plan, all customers of the plan shall be advised thereof 30 days in advance. All customers shall be shifted free of charge to the Basic Plan or to any other Alternative Plan at customer's discretion.
Is there a deadline for enrolling in the plan?
No. You can enroll in the plan at any time.
Is there a minimum subscription time to the plan?
Currently there is no minimum subscription time to the plan.
Are the new rates effective following enrollment?
The new rates of Muito Mais 21 are effective no later than 5 days following the enrollment.
What are the applicable charges and taxes?
The same taxes of the Basic Plan: State ICMS, PIS (0,65%) and COFINS (3%)
What about the calls made before and after my enrollment in the next bill?
DDD calls made before your enrollment in Muito Mais 21 plan are charged under the Basic Plan rates. After your enrollment in the plan is effective, all calls shall be charged in accordance with Muito Mais 21 alternative plan
Can I enroll in any other alternative plan and in Muito Mais 21 as well?
No. In order to enroll in Muito Mais 21, you have to cancel your subscription to any other long distance domestic alternative plan: Unidos Via 21, Opção 21, Toda Hora 21 or Sempre 21.
