 How does the Muito Mais 21 Plan work?
The Muito Mais 21 Corporativo plan is offered in blocks of minutes, in accordance with the customers needs. The minutes are valid for wireline-wireline calling to anywhere in Brazil, at any time and any day of the week.
There are 9 blocks of minutes (100, 200, 300, 500, 1,000, 1,500, 3,000, 5,000 and 10,000) with just a flat rate for the contracted block. For wireline-mobile calling, there are only 3 rates, and only 3 rates as well for the wireline-wireline calling in excess of the minutes you buy.
However, proportionally the customers will have only 2 rates: one for wireline-mobile phone calling, and another for wireline-cell phone calling.
What are the benefits of the Muito Mais 21 Corporativo Plan?
Joining the Muito Mais 21 Corporativo Plan, your organization will control all national long-distance calls and save by paying less during the hours when calls are more expensive in the Basic Plan, from 08:00 to 18:00.
Furthermore, you benefit from the simple rate structure of this plan, and can easily control and understand your Long Distance Domestic calling costs.
What happens after I have used up all the contracted minutes?
After using the contracted minutes, your organization will count with a very simple rating structure, with only three rates for the daytime, night-time, and weekends, to any place in the country.
However, on a promotional basis, after the end of the contracted minutes, the customers will pay the same rate of the blocks they bought for their wireline-wireline calling.
There is a flat rate for the wireline-mobile calls not deducted from the contracted blocks, on a promotional basis, valid at any time and any day of the week.
During what time period are the contracted minutes valid?
The minutes can be used at any time or day of the week.
What about calls to mobile phones?
Calls to mobile phones can be made normally and will also be rated following a simplified structure, with only three favourable rates for daytime, night time, and weekends. On a promotional basis, there is a flat rate for wireline-mobile calling valid at any time, any day of the week.
Does this plan charge subscription fees?
No. The value paid regards the contracted block(s) of minutes. Savings are specially beneficial for organizations that normally make more calls during the working hours.
What are the benefits of the Muito Mais 21 Corporativo Plan compared to Embratel's Basic Plan?
The Muito Mais 21 Plan offers lower rates than the Basic Plan, specially if you compare them to the normal rates during working hours. Besides, with this Plan, the customer always knows how much he will pay for the calls he has made.
How many blocks of minutes can I contract?
You can buy as many blocks as you need with the same number of minutes. You can’t buy different blocks of minutes. For instance, you can buy 4 blocks of 1,000 minutes but you can’t buy 3 blocks of 1,000 minutes and two blocks of 500 minutes.
Can any customer subscribe?
Yes.
What must I do to contract the blocks?
Simply fill in the subscription form in this website.If you are a customer of Embratel, contact your account manager.
Are International Long-Distance calls also included in this plan?
No. For IDD calling, the customers can register in the “Ligue DDI 21” plan and save with their international calls as well.
What is the area covered by the plan?
The contracted blocks of minutes are valid anywhere in Brazil. This is an additional benefit when you concentrate your long-distance calls with Embratel.
And what happens to the Basic Plan?
Embratel continues to offer the Basic Corporativo Plan, however, all national long-distance calls made in terminals registered in the Muito Mais 21 Corporativo Plan are billed based on the simplified rates of this plan, and not according to the Basic Plan.
Are collect calls also included in the plan?
Yes, as long as the terminal receiving the collect call is registered in the Muito Mais 21 Corporativo Plan. In this manner, the call will be billed according to the plan's rates. You must also remember that the collect calls are included in the contracted package of minutes.
If I register in the Muito Mais 21 Corporativo halfway during the billing period, do I have to pay for the whole monthly charge corresponding to that mode?
No. By registering in the plan you just pay for the proportionate share of the Muito Mais 21 Corporativo plan you bought, plus taxes. The proportionate share takes into account the effective date in the systems, until the final date of the billing period.
The period of time corresponding to that proportionate share will be detailed in the Embratel bill next to the description of the mode you bought.
Can the customer subscribe to the Sempre 21 plan and to the Muito Mais 21 Corporativo Plan?
No. Each account can only be registered in one alternative plan for national long-distance calls (DDD).
Is this plan valid for a limited period?
No. In the event Embratel cancels the Muito Mais 21 Plan, this shall be informed to all customers registered in the plan 30 days in advance. All of them shall be transferred, at no charge, to the Basic Plan or another Alternative Plan of their choice.
Is there a final date for subscribing to the plan?
No. You can choose to subscribe to the plan whenever you wish.
Is there a minimum period for remaining in the plan?
At the present moment, there is no minimum period for remaining in the plan.
Are the new rates in force upon the subscription date?
The new rates of the Muito Mais 21 Corporativo Plan are activated up to 5 days after the subscription date.
What taxes and charges will I have to pay?
The same taxes that are levied on the Basic Plan: ICMS for the state, PIS (0,65%), and COFINS (3%).
In my next invoice, how will the calls before and after the subscription be treated?
DDD calls made before entry in the Muito Mais 21 Corporativo Plan are billed according to the Basic corporativo Plan rates. After the subscription is completed, all calls shall be billed according to the rates of the alternative Muito Mais 21 Plan.
Can the customer be registered in another alternative plan and also in the Muito Mais 21 Corporativo Plan?
Yes, they can register in another alternative Long Distance International plan (Ligue DDI21 or Cartão Acesse Fácil). However, they can’t register in any other alternative Long Distance Domestic plan (like Sempre 21).
