 My organization transports valuables. What Movsat mode should I choose to track my vehicles and control my fleet?
You may use the Movsat C or the Movsat D Plus modes. Both services employ transceptors with an imbedded GPS receptor. In the D Plus mode, the equipment is less costly and smaller than with the Movsat C. However, Movsat D Plus has size restrictions for 8-byte messages, whereas in Movsat C, the limit for text is 32 kbytes.
Can I use the Movsat service on board a sailboat?
Yes, as long as you use the proper modes, with the proper antennae for ocean use.
Is it possible to send and receive e-mails using the Movsat service installed on board a ship or airplane?
Yes, as long as you use any of the versions that include antennae for use on air or sea. Using the service for sending and receiving messages on the web is very simple. Contact your Embratel Manager.
