What is the Renpac service?
Renpac is a multiprotocol switched service with national and international coverage, offering different speeds and protocols. It includes several service modes (3025, 3028, 3030, 3040, 2028, 2032, and 2040) for better adjusting to customer applications. Different optional features are provided to make up the best solution for the customers.
What is the main characteristic of the service?
Being a switched service, its main characteristic is the absence of physical links between different points of the customer's network, enabling the creation of a solution for interconnecting several points of the organization or even points belonging to different organizations.
What are the typical speeds of the service?
The service offers several speeds, starting at 64 Kbps and reaching 512 Kbps for those dedicated to 3025 and lower speeds for 3028 (up to 19.2 Kbps), as well as 2.4 Kbps to 33.6 Kbps for switched access (via telephone).
Who is it aimed at? Can my company use it?
Any company is a potencial user of the service, or even individuals. The service assists applications with short transactions that do not require high speeds. Accessing data bases between sites belonging to a company or different companies is a situation for which the service offers solutions.
